Executive Summary
Augean North Sea Services (ANSS) supplied offshore multi-skilled personnel for Drilling & Well Abandonment Waste Management services for Fairfield Energy, during the plugging and abandonment (P&A) of the 16 Osprey and Merlin subsea wells on the Dunlin Alpha.
Project Scope
Due to Platform POB (persons on board) restrictions for the Well Abandonment campaigns, ANSS were asked to provide multiskilled personnel to cover
various operational activities.
Solution
ANSS Multiskilled personnel were contracted to supply the following services.
- Pits, tanks and pipework cleaning
- Rig floor and deckhand assistance
- Casing crew assistance
- TRS pumps supply and operations for engine cooling systems
- Swarf handing assistance for third party support
- General platform duties as and when required to support well abandonment operations.
Result
The customer realised the cost and logistics benefits
with using one vendor for various operational tasks.

to our customers.
